The combustion air heaters, our RAAG patented type, are used to increase the efficiency of steam generators and refinery heaters by heating the combustion air before sending it to burners. The combustion air heaters recover the sensible heat of flue gas before to release it to the stack and are realized by chevron shaped steel plates with wide channels suitable to allow an easy cleaning by water washing or steam blowing. Furthermore they are manufactured with 100% air-gas tightening, guaranteed by pneumatic test (“zero leackage” feature).
