In a very high number of heat transfer applications, when film coefficients are different from one side to another, extended surface heat exchangers allow better design opportunities.

COMPACT EQUIPMENTS

Finning allows skillful solutions for compactness, reducing required installation room in comparison with plain tube heat exchangers. The investment cost and installation costs are reduced.

FINNING HIGH EFFICIENCY

Heat transfer film coefficients are increased by means of extending heating or cooling surfaces. High thermal duty is obtained through high fin efficiency assured by the good contact between ground tubes and finning.

LOW FOULING FACTORS

Due to the difference between fin temperatures and ground tubes skin temperatures, extended surface heat exchangers reduce in many cases fouling problem. Heating surface, cooling units avoid low temperature deposits.
